What Would You save time?

June 23rd, 2011

We all get Overwhelmed from time to time, and sometimes it seems as if a 24 hours a day is not enough to get everything done that we would like. Consider this a brainstorming session. Start Creating a list of daily activities that, if you did not need them, allow you to have more time in your day. For example, many of us have been doing the laundry regularly. That takes time. What about making dinner? Commuting? The list goes on. Theses types of tasks are usually necessary and inevitable. It would be great if we could hire a housekeeper, a personal chef or a driver to handle these things for us. More often than not, we end up doing the same things that must be taken care of every day.

Now try to think of other things that take up your time. Maybe you’re a small business owner who just does not have time to manage the accounting of your business, or to deal with the email traffic coming into your arrival. What about the organization of files (both paper and electronic) so that it becomes easier to find what you’re looking for? In most windows, organize the visit is what is best to solve theses types of problems of time management. Try to read the mail only two or three times a day at specific times, rather than every time a new message arrives (even if the curiosity factor might be very strong!). Plan your cleaning items all at once on the same day, if possible. For example, do all the laundry on Saturday morning. Try planning your meals in advance, so you know exactly how long it will take to prepare and cook each meal.

For office tasks, spend time with a professional organizer or collaborate with a virtual assistant can save you hours of time. Also, would not like to divest to someone who makes a living doing these very things. Food for thought!

The main point I’m trying to do with a little ‘is that thought and planning, you can create multiple-time in your life to do the things you love to do. Good luck and happy planning!
