Tips to save an hour a day

At Home

o Keep related items together, such as coffee filters and coffee “live” above or near the coffee machine. (Savings of 2-5 minutes per day)

o Create a communications center on the fridge for messages, jobs, etc. .. (Saving 5 minutes per day)

o Keep a shopping list all family members can add items published Where As They sold out. (Savings of 10-30 minutes per week if you miss TWO and have something to return to the store!)

o Create an address book for quick reference. Outlook Express, ACT!, Quicken, and all have phone books, or you can do the “old” way and the input information by hand in the actual book of the year. Keep it updated. (Saving 5 minutes per day)

Organize your documents or computer. Put in a folder. Your computer is already It For You – “My Documents”. Then create subfolders for each program you use, such as Word, Excel, Power Point, etc..
