What is the real value of setting goals?
I believe that 100% of the power of the objectives to discuss the results you achieve in your life. My beliefs have come to see the goals in my life for clients has been strengthened, my family and my own life. The beauty of goal setting is that it is never too young or too old to start the process and enjoy the results.
Although I have to do with coaching in my own family with care, I have some stories of my own family, the constant reminder to me about the power of the lens. My left hand, 11 year old son, his hand through the writing of his school days, was aimed at “more than twice fought so my handwriting. With the objective clearly in mind, it was motivated DIY automatically “take the hand that wrote the program. He worked on the program itself, with little in the way of memories of me. His speed of writing, the pace and scope has been reached.
For 67 years, or as long as they could with a pencil, grandmother of my son, my mother enjoyed art as a hobby. She had a point where they do not always achieve much of their art. I took them by a goal and set up the meeting in their art, they do what they wanted: If you become an artist of excellence. They even said they did not have enough time for their art, and was very motivated and very focused. At age 68, she applied and was accepted into a course BA Hons degree to do and has since won awards for his art. In both cases, it was literally setting goals for yourself, which led to these results.
Targets can be used in the time to change the result dramatically. Today I was stopped at a tennis match. I was not playing well, and I am for love 2:05 ET 40 down. Unexpectedly, I was inspired by the idea of winning by such a location. “5-2 winner and a decrease of 40 love” was the target this time I was really excited. I shared my goal with my opponent. My game has changed beyond recognition .. I was very focused and determined, while at the same time very relaxed. I started to enjoy the game instead of losing many games of love, I played to love. Am going to finally win 7-6.
Jon Covey told his readers “with the end in mind” Start – and if we set the goal that we are doing that.
